Research on the opening prayers of Mass and on arranging a church was featured in the presentation of two volumes at the <\/span>Pontifical Athenaeum Sant\u2019Anselmo<\/span><\/a> on 23 March 2022. Dr. Gerard Moore presented the second edition of his study on the \u201ccollects\u201d, or opening prayers of the Mass, titled: <\/span>Vatican II and the Collects of Ordinary Time<\/span><\/i>. He is the principal of the <\/span>Australian Institute of Theological Education<\/span><\/a>. Fr. <\/span>Daniel McCarthy<\/span><\/a>, OSB, presented principles for arranging a church for the celebration of liturgy, titled <\/span>Word and Spirit: On the double role of presiding in the assembly and directing the prayer<\/span><\/i>. He is lecturer at the <\/span>Pontifical Institute of Liturgy<\/span><\/a> at Sant\u2019Anselmo.
