Sant\u2019Anselmo is delighted to welcome pilgrims visiting during the Holy Year 2025. We are offering guided tours of our historic church, cloister, and other key areas in seven languages: Italian, English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, Polish and German.<\/p>\n

What\u2019s Included in a Visit to Sant\u2019Anselmo<\/h3>\n
    \n
  • Welcome in the church atrium<\/li>\n
  • Church tour (conducted discreetly to maintain a prayerful atmosphere)<\/li>\n
  • Cloister visit: pausing at the statue of Abbot Hildebrand to learn about the life of Sant\u2019Anselmo and the Benedictine Confederation<\/li>\n
  • Refectory visit (if available)<\/li>\n
  • For groups under 25 people: we will conclude in the Abbot Primate\u2019s parlor, where a small refreshment can be arranged in advance.<\/li>\n
  • For groups over 25 people: we will conclude in the meeting hall, with the same option for refreshments available.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Joining the Community in Prayer<\/h3>\n

    If your group wishes to attend Midday Prayer or Vespers, your guide will accompany you and remain with your group during the prayer.<\/p>\n

    Dining Options<\/h3>\n

    We may be able to accommodate smaller groups for lunch or supper. If your group will stay for lunch or supper, your guide will assist in seating arrangements and explain the Benedictine traditions, including prayers before and after meals and maintaining a respectful silence.<\/span><\/p>\n
