Syro-Malankara Mass
Collegio Sant’Anselmo celebrated the Syro-Malankara Rite on Wednesday 18 October 2023 as part of our custom of highlighting Masses in different languages every month. The Masses and subsequent festive suppers serve as multicultural expressions of the home countries of our international residents.
Below is the paragraph written by Jibin James, one of our residents, on his Facebook page. His words demonstrate once again that, here at Sant’Anselmo, living, learning and praying with people from different cultures is one of our great strengths and joys.
Story by Jibin James, resident and student
His Beatitude Baselios Cardinal Cleemis Thottunkal, the Father and Head of the Syro-Malankara Catholic Church, celebrated the Holy Qurbono in the Syro-Malankara rite at Collegio Sant’Anselmo in Rome. We sincerely thank Fr. Mauritius Wilde OSB, the prior, and the entire Anselmianum community for their enthusiastic participation and fraternal fellowship. I am eternally grateful to God for the extraordinary privilege of being a resident in the exquisite embrace of Anselmianum College, where beauty, knowledge, and spiritual enlightenment intertwine in a harmonious symphony.
